The dawn of winter,
With its mix of cold and warm –
Graced the skies with colour,
Greeting us this chilly morn.

May you find comfort this season,
With family and with friends –
Reach out, help the needy,
As the Lord his Blessing sends.

May our hearts be always cheerful,
What e’re the cold may bring;
Find joy in Christ our Saviour –
And praises to him sing.
